Evadney Campbell MBE is a former journalist with almost 30 years at the BBC in a variety of roles including radio and TV presenting and news reporting.
In 1994, she was awarded an MBE honour by the Queen for her dedication to charity work over a number of years.
In 2013, Evadney launched Shiloh PR, alongside her daughter Karen. They now offer PR services, and media training to corporations and persons in senior management carrying out broadcast interviews.
Evadney is listed as one of the Top 100 British Entrepreneurs by Richtopia.com.
With her vast experience in broadcast and news, plus a contacts book as long as your arm, Evadney is a regular speaker at conferences and events. She features regularly on TV as a PR expert. She’s the main trainer for Shiloh PR clients, in addition to working on Shiloh PR projects.
She’s a qualified adult trainer having completed a PTTLS Training course at Level 4 in 2013.
One of the Co-Founders of Shiloh PR, Karen Campbell has 15+ years experience of working in the media. 13 of which, were spent within major youth-focused brands.
She began her career in public relations, handling accounts for various heath authorities in the Midlands, whilst juggling her passion for music by writing music and event reviews in her spare time.
This interest in music, led to Karen being part of the founding team for the launch of BBC Radio 1Xtra. She spent six years at the network, producing both mainstream and a range of specialist music shows.
Karen is now a social media marketing and digital media specialist. Her expertise in the digital field has led to Karen producing and managing website and social media content for Kiss FM, BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra in addition to leading social media marketing for BBC iPlayer. She’s now the UK & Ireland Social Media Manager for the ODEON Cinema chain.
