Shiloh PR co-founder in Women in PR’s ’45 Over…
Shiloh PR co-founder Evadney Campbell MBE, has been recognised in the first ever Women in PR (WIPR) ‘45 Over 45’ list on the eve of International Women’s Day.
The list was launched off the back of research commissioned by WIPR that revealed more than one in three women in comms have experienced workplace ageism and just over half of women under 50 don’t see themselves working in the same part of the industry when they turn 50.
Evadney launched Shiloh PR alongside her daughter Karen Campbell, in 2013 following decades working in broadcast journalism. Of her inclusion in the list, she said:
“This is truly an honour for me. It shows that you’re never too late to pursue your dream. It is humbling to be recognised among these amazing women and I hope it motivates others to never let age stop them from going after their goals.”
Shiloh PR was set up to offer public relations services and media training to corporations and persons in senior management who want to reach the UK’s untapped Black and ethnic minority communities or those carrying out broadcast interviews and need help.
The ‘WPR 45 over 45’ 2022 list, which can be seen in full here, features a wealth of trailblazing female talent across the comms industry, with a mix of in-house and agency professionals as well as those who’ve set up as independent practitioners – and those who have come back to the profession after parenting or caring career breaks.
