Plias Resettlement Services

Shiloh PR was appointed to support PLIAS Resettlement Services in delivering their first-ever summit focusing on domestic violence, criminal justice, and the vital work of domestic homicide reviews.

Our objective was to raise awareness of these critical issues, establish the summit as an annual cornerstone event, and help drive ticket sales.

The summit was hosted during the globally recognized 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

Our Approach

We implemented a strategic public relations campaign designed to amplify the summit’s reach and maximize engagement across diverse audiences, including media, stakeholders, and the public:

  • Developed and distributed tailored press releases targeting dozens of media outlets, activists, and key stakeholders.
  • Published event updates via additional online distribution channels.
  • Crafted and pitched exclusive features to select media outlets.
  • Created and shared blogs and engaging content across Shiloh PR’s LinkedIn and social media platforms.
  • Facilitated media requests for interviews, both pre- and post-summit.
  • Coordinated social media campaigns, creating multiple posts to sustain momentum and drive visibility.
  • Fostered partnerships by liaising with other organizations active in this space to generate wider interest.
  • Conducted outreach to criminology departments at London universities, personally inviting key academics to attend.

Results & Impact

Our campaign resulted in:

  • Coverage across multiple press outlets and interviews broadcasted on several radio stations.
  • Significant engagement on LinkedIn, with thousands of impressions generated through our posts.

This first-of-its-kind summit laid the foundation for ongoing conversations and annual events addressing domestic violence and criminal justice reform.
